I made it through the July 4th weekend with little poker play. Late Friday night after many hours of adult beverages, a few of us decided to get a friendly game of poker going, $10 buy-in. I think I won so that's always a good thing.
After that we decided to light up the sky with our illegal fireworks, it was a great time. My friend Marcia decided to get a little intimate with one of the illegals and burned a few of her digits. All is good now though, she survived another July 4th and hopefully she will join us again next year.
This Saturday I will be heading to the Grand Opening of the Horseshoe Casino in Southern Indiana. I'm excited and can't wait it to see the new poker room. I plan on playing poker the entire time except when I go to the Barenaked Ladies concert. I love their song "If I Had A Million Dollars", they are a great band and I'm really looking forward to that (thanks to my uncle who got us free tickets)
