$10 SNG

The World Series of Poker is underway and it's an exciting time for any poker enthusiast, I find myself checking all the poker websites to find out the chip counts, who's still in, who's out.

It's been a pretty busy weekend so haven't had a lot of time to play any poker until now. I thought I would play a quick $10 + $1 27 person SNG. I am trying to remember some of the key things I learned through some of my online poker training courses. Overall my style of play is pretty aggressive, I'm comfortable with my style of play but I think at times I am to aggressive. I'm trying to mix up my game and close some of the leaks I have.

I get pocket 9's in the small blind with below average stack of $1045 and the blinds $100/$200 I decide it's a good enough hand to push all in and get one caller which I'm OK with. My one caller has pocket J's. I went out 12th place. Overall I think I played pretty well but was watching TV and checking the poker websites as Event #1 is still waiting for the bubble to go out.

My stat's:
Dealt 71 hands and saw the flop:
3 out of 10 times from the big blind
5 out of 10 times in the small blind
6 out of 51 times in other positions
for a total of 14 out of 71 hands

Bankroll -$11
