Poker Update...

I played in two online MTT in the last 24 hours. First was the Sunday $200K and the second one was the daily $30K both on PokerStars.

I finished the tournament in 2296th place for $22.56

I finished the tournament in 96th place for $54.06

Overall a pretty good 24 hours.

First Annual Poolside Poker Tournament

This coming Saturday we will be having the first annual poolside poker party at my uncles house. He has this nice pool, it's August and I love poker. Somehow I have managed to talk him into hosting it at his house. We should have two tables running a $20 buy in poker tournament and then hopefully some friendly cash games on the side afterwards.

It's August and we are in Nashville which means it's 100 degree's outside, so hopefully the weather will play nicely for our little event. I figured worse case, we could take breaks and jump in the pool.

Everyone will be coming over around 3pm but the tournament won't start until around 7pm so my strategy is to let everyone get drunk before the tournament, pretend I am drinking and then take all their money!! Sounds like a good plan to me. I'll update everyone on Sunday with how it went.

Two weeks until we hit the seaside Beau Rivage Resort in Biloxi, I am really looking forward to that. Hopefully the poker Gods will be looking down on me with praise.
